The Meals on Wheels Annual Conference and Expo will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, from August 28 to August 30. The conference is set to include discussions and presentations on prevalent topics from innovative industry leaders and passionate nutrition experts. One of the main areas of focus for the three-day event is health care partnerships and how local Meals on Wheels programs can best pursue revenue-generating partnerships with community organizations and agencies. Sessions led by health care experts will detail successful existing models and focus on crucial competencies in compliance, data collection and standardization, and service offering development.
Another primary area of focus includes strengthening the nonprofit’s advantage in the senior nutrition market as well as enhancing its value proposition across socialization, safety, and independence.
